Create a reprint checkout link

tinytales_create_reprint_checkout tinytales:write

Create a Polar checkout URL to reprint a book that already has a completed print order. Every page must still be rendered and the current preview must be approved with tinytales_approve_book_preview. The person pays in the browser. This tool does not charge a card, and no MCP tool can charge a card. The response includes the price breakdown and total for the quantity. Works without a curation profile: omitted quantity is 1 (one shared copy).

01Access

The signed-in customer must have approved tinytales:write. Calls stay inside that account.

book_id

Book id returned by tinytales_list_books or tinytales_create_book.

quantity

integer

Number of printed copies. When omitted, uses the curation profile defaultQuantity, or 1 if no profile is set. 1 means one shared copy.

shipping_address_json

string

Optional JSON shipping address to echo on the response. When omitted, uses the curation profile shipping address if one was saved. Polar still collects the paid address in the browser.

response_format

string

json returns structured data. markdown returns the same data as a short readable summary. Defaults to json.

Present when ok is false. Names the failed state and the next tool to call.

checkout_url

Polar URL where the person pays. Absent when ordering is closed.

Shipping address echoed for display. Null when none was provided or saved. Polar still collects the paid address in the browser.

pricing

object

Price breakdown from the same Polar config checkout uses: unitPriceCents (promo when active), listPriceCents, additionalCopyPriceCents, promoActive, shippingIncluded, currency, quantity, and totalCents.

No completed print order exists for this book. Use tinytales_create_checkout for a first print.
Ordering is not yet open. Use the Order button on the book page to join the waitlist.
Book not found
Checkout is blocked until every page is rendered
Checkout is blocked until the person approves a full preview
