# TinyTales MCP skill

TinyTales turns a signed-in customer's photos into a printable coloring book. Call `tinytales_account` action `get` first. Tools are resources with a required `action` param.

## Scopes

- `account:read` — See your account and print pricing. This does not charge a card.
- `books:read` — See your books, pages, images, and share links.
- `books:write` — Create and edit books, upload photos, and add pages.
- `books:delete` — Delete books, pages, and images; publish; rotate or revoke share links; remove collaborators.
- `orders:read` — See your print orders.
- `checkout:write` — Approve a preview and make a checkout or reprint link. Payment still happens in your browser.
- `profile:write` — Save kids, cadence, photo notes, and default copy count.

Reads default on at consent; writes default off. The grant is the intersection of checked boxes, requested scopes, and this list. `tools/list` includes a tool when the token holds any of its action scopes. Other actions return `403 insufficient_scope`.

### `tinytales_account` — Account

Scope: `account:read`. Read this account, Polar print pricing (does not charge a card), or the optional curation profile. Actions: get, pricing, profile.

### `tinytales_books_write` — Edit books

Scope: `books:write`. Create or update a draft coloring book, or queue generation. Actions: create, update, process. Add photos with tinytales_images_write.

Scope: `books:write`. Add a page, change captions, reorder, set the cover, or retry a failed page. Actions: add, update_caption, reorder, set_cover, retry.

### `tinytales_images` — Images

Scope: `books:read`. List coloring images, check generation status, or get a 15-minute preview URL (no image bytes). Actions: list, status, preview.

### `tinytales_images_write` — Upload a photo

Scope: `books:write`. Add one photo to a draft book and queue a coloring page. Action: upload. JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC up to 10 MB. Undecodable, blank, or noise files are rejected.

Scope: `orders:read`. List print orders or load one order, including tracking when the printer has provided it. Actions: list, get.

Scope: `books:write`. Create or return a collaborator invite link, or join a book from a token. Actions: create, join. Preview first with tinytales_share action preview_join.

Scope: `checkout:write`. Approve a preview, make a Polar checkout or reprint link, or join the waitlist. Actions: approve, create, reprint, waitlist. Does not charge a card.

### `tinytales_profile` — Curation profile

Scope: `profile:write`. Save optional photo-curation notes and buyer defaults; omit a field to leave it unchanged. Action: update. Read the profile with tinytales_account action profile.

## How to use them

- Upload photos with `tinytales_images_write` action `upload` (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC, up to 10 MB). There is no Google Photos MCP tool; attach-in-chat is the agent photo path. Google Photos connect stays in the TinyTales app.
- Checkout is a Polar link. No MCP tool charges a card. Call `tinytales_account` action `pricing` and state the total, then `tinytales_checkout` action `approve`, then `tinytales_checkout` action `create`. Reprint is `tinytales_checkout` action `reprint` (needs a prior paid order).
- Signed preview URLs from `tinytales_images` action `preview` expire in 15 minutes: download immediately, never hotlink.
- Save pairing answers with `tinytales_profile` action `update` (kids_json, cadence, photo_source, default_quantity, shipping_address_json). Read them with `tinytales_account` action `profile`.
